Hello there...i spent 4 nites in Centara over christmas......I heard that these guys are notorious for losing reservations. (ive been to haad yaun beach 3 times b4)....So i called ahead a month b4 i arrived to make sure this was not gonna happen to me arriving christmas eve....When i arrived , there they were , a lovely couple who just arrived 5 mins b4 me trying to figure out how the hotel did not have their reservation....i felt so sorry for them and was hoping it wasnt the same way with me...Basically they would have had nowhere else, since its so remote and everything was tottally booked out for the holidays...I was checked in no problems.....basically all the staff were amazing EXCEPT for the 2 cowboys on the reception.....They were the most obnoxious pair of idiots.....I rang down to them to set up a massage 3 hrs b4.....i got ready ahd a shower and off i went to the spa...when i got there...they were like Who are u?....i went to the reception and they totally forgot about me...UNBELIEVABLE....no massage.....The nite b4 we checked out 4 of us (all of us were stayin der)..booked a taxi car over the mountain to Haadrin...When we all met at the reception next morning to leave...THEY FOR GOT TO BOOK ANYTHING FOR US (UNBELIEVABLE)....we all had flites to catch!......these peolple at the reception talk down to u like idiots...they scream at you for any sort of payments and crack the most fake smiles you ll ever see....VERY AGRESSIVE (YOU LL SEE WHAT I MEAN IF U GO STAY THERE)....DONT FORGET WE PAYED $660 EACH TO STAY HERE FOR 4 NITES OVER CHRISTMAS...JOKE....The receptionist screamed so much in our faces when we were leaving, that my pal had to scream back to tell them to relax......so weird.....never stay here again....Will saty in Barcelona or Big Blue instead next time....

The hotel is not worth the money we spend.there were no hot water,they charge for everything service and tax,and the price is very expansive compare to thailand.no wifi you have to pay for it. They say that breakfast is until 10:00am but they start to clean around 09:30.No a/c in the play room and in daining room. The buttom line is that the money you spend there is not worth it there are better hotels then that one.

Centara Paryia is a very nice hotell and the hotel area are fantastic with direct acess to one of Koh Phangans best beaches. We have seen a few. The service was good. We stayed in a jazucci villa it is not worth money because jacuzzi was not directly attached to the room. (a tips is to take a walk to the northern part of the beach and walk the stairs. Lovely view and nice restaurant. Perfect place to stay for Full moon. Only 5 min by longtail to Haad Rin.

We stayed in a Tropical Villa which was very nice - they upgraded us into this room free of charge which was nice of them. The food prices at the hotel were a bit pricey for what you got and the room service menu was very limited. We were recommended to stay there for the full moon party but that was a bad recommendation - we had to wait 5 hours for a boat to come and pick us up because of a low tide. Also our return hotel transfer was a nightmare because they were late so we had to catch a taxi to the pier or we would have missed our ferry back to koh samui.

Amazing place! great hotel and rooms, lovely staff, beautiful beach. You should check the 2-3 restaurants in the area that are very good and cheap. Will definitely visit again when I get a chance to be in Thailand.
