Hotel sympa a éviter en période de moon party pour ceux qui cherchent le calme sauf en période creuse.Le coin est proche de la half moon.Bonne cuisine,accueil sans plus mais correct.Situé entre le sud de l ile très fréquenté par les teuffeurs et le nord plutot calme.La plage est très quelconque il vous faudra vous déplacer pour en trouver de belles.Voiture ou taxi indispensable.Les patrons sont Russes mais emploient du personnel local.

We had booked 2 nights here but left after one night as we were very disappointed, it was way too expensive for what you get

If I knew that this hotel is russian managed, I will never book it. The motto of Morning star is: If you need anything, make it by youself! We stayed there for 4 nights and our bungalow was cleaned no one time. Also were the problems with the water

the first room was the size of a dolls house,leaking hand basin and leaking shower,asked to move to another room or my money back.Moved to a bigger room and that was fine at least it had a cupboard.The staff were EXCELLENT,friendly and efficient. I will definately go back but ask for the superior room or beach front foom

The resort is a great location if looking to visit full moon party it is just far away from the hectic haad rin but also close enough to get cheap taxi into within 5-10min. Set on the beach i stayed in a superior beach hut, located on the beach with the sea in vision from your bed, excellent room. The staff once you get to know tham are very plesant, they seemed a little distant at first. The grounds are well kept and i would definetly recommend staying. only minor downside was price of alcohol little bit steep compared to neighbouring hotel bars etc. food was excellent

Pool area and beach were beautiful with nice general ambience. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although I suspect i was too late a riser to have my room cleaned. Also slightly disappointeed that my room was out of range for in-room WiFi, but not problems at the bar\restaurant area, and my room perhaps a fair distance as it was right by the beach. I would stay here again.

Staff très accueillant,adorable. Tout le personnel est parfait et très souriant.Très bonne ambiance. Nous avons été surclassés dans un bungalow très luxueux, gratuitement pour les 3 nuits au morning star car 3 grands adultes meme si ma fille est mineure. Piscine agréable, jardin MAGNIFIQUE et locaux agréables, refaits à neuf, très propres. Un petit paradis. Seul inconvénient : vraiment pas d eau dans la mer, impossible de se baigner ou dans 20 cm d eau. Juste idéal pour se reposer car très calme et un peu isolé. Pour baignade ou snorkeling, prévoir une demie ou une journée d excursion dans le nord de l île (sans difficulté car la route est très bonne).

Morning Star Resort is paradise to me ! Great place, very nice bungalows, great staff. They are always here for your comfort, warmfull... The managers are doing everything so you can spend great holidays at Morning Star Resort. Far enought from Haad Rin but close to it so you can go there to have fun very quickly and be back in a quiet place after.

The service here was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, and had great showers and soft beds. The pool and beach area was nice.
