Просто отличный отель. Жила в коттедже, рекомендую для проживания именно их, потому как очень удачное расположение (близко к пляжу и к бассейну), расположены в тропическом саду, да и внутри все очень хорошо. Из плюсов отеля - огромная очень зеленая территория, длинная линия пляжа, большой бассейн, хорошие завтраки, отличные номера. Из минусов - пляжные полотенца в свободный доступ попадают только часам к 8-9 утра, до этого надо искать персонал и канючить у них эти самые полотенца))

We spent the best two weeks of our life (my wife and I) in this tropical paradise. We stayed at a cozy cottage surrounded by a wonderful garden just a one-minute walk to the beach. We absolutely loved the open air tropical shower. The only problem was invisible during the daytime and hugry at night the army of mosquitos who apparently sneaked into the room through the tropical shower door and attacked you when you enjoyed a peaceful sleep. But shortly after the first mosquito attacks we were provided with anti-mosquito equipment and later every day of our stay the cleaning lady turned it on right before we came back after dinner. The staff was super friendly and considerate. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. Special thanks to the super smiling omelette chef))) He was the best!!! The beach was very beautiful. There was a huge tree that produced a large shadow and harbored many sunbeds so that any time of the day we could enjoy a pleasant chill and escape from the boiling heat. And another thanks is to the beach tea team who arrived at 3.30 p.m. with a magical refreshing drink and coconut cookies. Your lemongrass tea was great and the cookies....Mmmmmmmm)))) We enjoyed every bit of our stay so we d definitely recommend this hotel to those looking for a tropical getaway!

Нам очень повезло, что мы выбрали именно этот отель. Уже с порога начинаешь испытывать приятное ощущение, что приехал в современный отель высокого уровня. Красивая территория с буйной зеленью, пальмами и клумбами. Бассейн замечательный, располагается в двух шагах от моря, с отличным видом, с идеальной температурой воды для охлаждения. Немного раздражало, когда люди занимали шезлонги вокруг бассейна, положив на них свои полотенца, и не пользовались ими полдня. Думаю, персоналу стоит как-то следить за этим или ограничивать по времени, освобождая шезлонг от полотенца, если на нем долго никто не появляется. Сложилось впечатление, что большинство постояльцев отеля – немцы. Русских не было вообще, и слава богу! Вообще же персонал работает отлично! Всегда с улыбкой, внимательный, всегда готовы приложить максимум усилий, чтобы оказать помощь, если она потребуется. Чувствуется Сервис с большой буквы. Горничные убираются качественно, никаких претензий ни разу не возникло. Им приходилось ждать, пока мы проснемся и раскачаемся, чтобы прибраться у нас. Мы бронировали номер Suite Villa – очень просторная вилла, даже ванная комната размером как гостиная. Лежа в ванной можно было открыть жалюзи и наблюдать за морем. Слайдовые двери, выход на собственную террасу, откуда открывается потрясающий вид бухты. Приятно было посидеть вечерами, слушая шум прибоя и стрекотание всяческой живности. В номере есть все, что только может потребоваться. Может, единственное замечание – жестковатый матрас, но это, как говорится, на любителя. Пляж у отеля удивительный, с белым-белым песком и чистой водой. С одной стороны, он достаточно спокойный, с другой стороны – совсем рядом Чавенг (5 минут на такси или 20 минут пешком), где есть большой выбор магазинов и развлечений. Завтраки хорошие, вполне обычный набор для отелей такого класса, но красиво сервированные столы, все выглядело очень аппетитно и просилось в рот :) Большой выбор разнообразных напитков, даже помимо обычного кофе можно было заказать латте. Рядом с отелем есть несколько отличных прибрежных ресторанов, куда можно сходить пообедать или поужинать. Пару раз кушали в пляжном ресторане соседнего отеля Imperial – все очень вкусно, и дальше по пляжу был наверное лучший и самый дешевый ресторан - Beach Love, его просто обязательно нужно посетить! Неприятно удивило вот что: отель позиционирует себя как современный и модный, при этом вечерами устраивал в ресторане жалкие «буфетные ужины» в сопровождении убогих ужасных певцов. Кому это нужно? Не могу поверить, что кому-то такое до сих пор нравится. В целом хочу сказать, что мы прекрасно провели отпуск в этом отеле и если соберемся в следующем году в Таиланд, обязательно выберем New Star – лучшего места на Самуи пока нет.

Бронь делали через Asiahotels.ru – по факту это самый дешевый способ бронировать отели в Таиланде. При бронировании возникла пара вопросов, которые оперативно и компетентно помогла решить менеджер Марина. Кстати, русскоговорящие консультанты – еще один плюс, которых нет у иностранных сайтов.

Pros:Very clean, friendly staff with an attitude that anything can be done, well equiped, large variety at breakfast, beautifully decorated, have a kids menu. Cons: Hilly, so having a 2yr old it was difficult as she needed carrying everywhere. We were put in a cottage right at the top of the resort as far way from pool and beach as possible which was a great pity. If we had known how many steps there were, we would have requested a cottage lower down. The resort is not pram friendly at all due to all the stairs, narrow walkways, stone paths. Most Staff s English was very poor and this made commnunication very difficult at times, although they did their best to try understand our needs.

Super quick responses to emails, smooth payment system and reliable when organizing things like pick ups etc. Only critizism is that a friend with 2 chn (aged 5 and 14) was interested in going to New Star and I was told by your agent that New Star could not accomodate them in any of their villas or suites or cottages...unless the 5 year old slept in the same bed as the parents!I asked at the resort, and found out that this is not true at all. They have very large suites that can even be made into 2 bedrooms and they can easily accomodate a family of four. In fact, while we were there - we met a family of 5, who said they were comfortably fitting into a villa. Unfortunately, my friend decided to go somewhere else, based on the information provided to us by sawadee. For that reason only, I am giving sawadee 4 out of 5 instead of 5/5!

Definitely a beautiful resort. No bad comments can be done, everything was great: the staff (always friendly and smiling) , the room (very spacious) and the location (beautiful beach and 10 minutes away from the noise of Chaweng). I ll surely come back!!!
