Very far from civilization. Taxi to Krabi costs 700 B. The beach is covered with mud. I would not recommend it.

If you stay at the sea house beach house , you got to get the beach front villa , lovely views of the sea , spacious and an outdoor bath. The resorts needs a lick of paint as it looks dated , you might want to try the sister hotel down the road called the beach resort. If you are looking for peace and quiet had yao is the place to be , nowt much to do around there. The staff are friendly , the food menu is limited but lovely. Overall its great value for money , beach is deserted and needs a clean as you get a load of rubbish brought in from the sea . If you want to relax and unwind this is the place to be , they do have a dvd player and a collection of dvds if you are into films and want something to do in the evenings.

Firstly, this place is about 40-45 mins from Krabi - not as close as they say. And apart from the sister hotel, there are no other restaurants around. That been said, is a great place to go if you want some quiet time. Premises was kept nice and clean, and staff were friendly with decent enough English. Room with private pool made the stay worthwhile. Hotel also had free tours to local attractions (Emerald Pool and hot springs, etc.) Distance and access to Krabi itself (mainly can t get there in the evening) is the only draw back. If you re going to stay there, hire your own car to get around.

Very friendly staff, nice and relaxing location, great pool, beautiful sundowns. The reservation needs improvement, esp. regarding their language skills and accuracy of work. The replies of my mails didn t answer my questions - it was obvious they didn t understand basic english. So I booked via sawadee.com to make sure that we get what we wanted to book. Nevertheless they booked our girls into a standard villa instead of the (prepaid) deluxe villa ... However, they got a new supervisor a few months ago who is doing a very good and efficient job. He cares about all his guests needs, what has to be done is done within minutes. Great service! We are looking forward to coming back to this beautiful place.

Nice hotel in undevelloped area, with small - not turistic- villages. Beach is relatively poor, but totally for your self and swimming ok! Good to heave a rent car when you stay longer.

We stayed in Starfish Villa which is very impressive.Big room with a bath tub concept in the room itself.Had lots of fun with my husband watching dvd all night provided by the resort.Fun was very nice and helpful,attending to her guests needs whenever needed. However,Had Yao is not for those party peoples or people who wants easy access to the malls. Its very far far away from the town.You have to get a transport out.The resort only provides shuttle bus every wed at a certain timing.Sea house is for those who seeks peace and serenity.Away from noise and peoples.So for those who wants to go shopping or party,Had Yao beach is not recommended.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at The Sea House Beach Krabi, an outstanding resort, fabulously managed by FUN. The rooms are absolutely stunning, the food was excellent too and ALL the staff highly dedicated. It s the perfect location for a RELAXING three or four days before headind to the more hectic/busy islands that are Phi Phi or Lanta. Being pretty close to Krabi Airport helped too, we were picked up there by the hotel straight on arrival.

Lovely private resort, with excellent service by friendly and accommodating team. very quiet, secluded and private - far from the tourist area and shops. No shops/restaurants in the area, meals can be taken at the resort (food is very good) or taxi can be requested to the nearest town (45 mins away).

Fantastic hotel to relax, it is a small tropical paradise, far away from the busy every-day life (the next town is 20 min. by car). Staff is very friendly and polite and helps you with everything they can, they do an excelent job to make you feel like home. We had a large beach front villa with great oceanview, very well equipped. High speed internet and large selection of DVD are standard-facilities there. We also had the chance to look at some of the other villas (they have 9 villas in total). Every villa is beautiful and individually equipped, on a high standard of quality. All villas have a private garden to relax, Lobster-villa even has a wonderful private pool and you can open a window in the private-garden-wall to have a wonderful seaview. Beach is very quite, with clear water and clean sand. We had breakfast and dinner atthe hotel every day. Food and drinks (esp. cocktails) were very delicious. They serve fusion and western food as well as thai dishes. The price is very fair, not too expensive. Although we had a car and went to the area nearby on some of the days, we returned to the hotel for dinner every evening as the food was excellent and we were so warm welcomed there. The hotel is managed on a high international standard of quality. We are looking forward to go there again soon.
