This place truly lives up to its name, the fifth paradise. Tranquility and peace all around. attentive service, hamocks in every three, nice bungalows and good for snorkeling. Super place for us to doze off the jetlag.

The situation was beautiful, the room was lovely but I could imagine that if the resort was full there would be very little space on the beach as it is tiny but gorgeous.
The service from staff was limited.
Overall it was a fabulous location.

Really wonderful hexagonal holiday huts. Brilliant service. Food could be better. Really really far down the island, for me too remote. We spent most days on other beaches.
Thankyou for a nice stay. Your customer service is excellent and you are all friendly and helpful. We broke a soap dispenser and you charged us a lot of money for a thing which would have cost next to nothing.

The place is a little paradise were the thailand resident go for there own vacation. We had our own beach, and its lovely.
But the beds are hard. Get softer madrasess...
And you get tired of the food in the hotell after 4 days.
But I must say its paradise.

Good establishment. Very peaceful location. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Quality of the mattresses/pillows/beds could improve.
Food overall quite good.
Bathrooms average overall, do leak when it rains but they are designed to be open roofed.
Not much of a beach for swimming. Rocky underfoot. There are much better beaches on Koh Samet.
The resort would do well to exploit the neighbouring coral reefs in the natural park. This would compensate for the average beach. Also, they should sell/rent beach shoes so entering the water on their beach is not so much of an endurance.
Don t miss the 4 island snorkeling trip conducted by Sinsamut, booked through the resort for THB 600 per person. Made the whole trip worthwhile.
Would visit again.

Nimmanoradee Hotel is located in the remote part of the island which is nice if your are looking for a quiet place. We booked a beachfront cottage. The room was ok: clean and well maintained but no complimentary tea or coffee as expected considering the price. We have been in Koh Samed many times and we can tell you that this time the price is overestimated for this hotel considering the hotel service... and the breakfast sucks!
Really, you can easily find better for cheaper in the island or better service for the same price. NO value for money AT ALL.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in any hotel. The staff were not in any way helpful, and really just rude. The beachfront cottage I paid more for was actually a dirt path front cottage that overlooked steep jagged rocks then water. There is no actual sand that you can lie down on anywhere on the property. The website boasts Thai massage yet I was told it wasn t possible because their masseuse was on vacation during peak season. The actual cottage could have been perceived as charming, had they bothered to clean the disgusting bathroom or even just used clean linens. The pool is large enough for about four people, provided they weren t interested in swimming laps. Did i mention its an above ground model? Lastly, if you did happen to book here, don t plan on seeing the rest of the island, eating anywhere but the hotel(that only serves Thai beer, limited soft drinks and fruit juice), lying on the beach, or booking any sort of fishing trip without a 40 minute, 600 Baht(one-way) taxi ride on one of the worst roads I ve ever seen. I can only be happy that I only paid for two nights, the second of which we didn t bother staying. Koh Samet is an absolutely beautiful island with much to offer, don t book at Nim-ma-no-ra-dee!
